I applied 1/25. went complete 1/26 and under review 1/28

Got admitted today via email but didn't say anything about scholarship, does it mean there's no $ at all?

IIRC there was scholarship info on my status checker after being admitted, so try checking there.

Hadn't heard that. Good to know. Thought I had heard only through the regular mail.

i just received an email, they offered 25k per year and it's not showing on my status checker

I received an email about a decision being posted later today. Still haven't gotten any other email or a posted decision. But it's weird that you get the scholarship amount in the email as others have said that they won't do that. Seems pretty inconsistent haha. Did you get the email about there being a decision posted later and then get an email? How did it work for you?

Same here. Applied and complete on the 22 and 25 of Jan. Under review on the 28 of Jan. Just got the email about a decision being posted later. If you look back at other people's timing of complete, review, decision made, you'll see that it's nearly two weeks from complete to decision. My guess is they start reviewing in two week waves based on when they receive the app.

Anybody know how open they are go negotiating? Got a good scholarship but hoping to bump it up some more. I'm willing to bet that they are simply because it seems like A LOT of people get offered money, and I'm sure many of those people end up choosing to attend elsewhere.

yea I got that decision posted later enail 1 hour before i got tbe decision, also via email. and about scholarship, they explained in that email that because i am not currently in the US and i might have problem with receiving mail, so they decide to inform me about the scholarship via email:) it's so thoughtful of them:)

Does anyone know what W&L's stance is on scholarship negotiation? They gave me a pretty great offer initially but I still have a few better out there from similarly ranked schools. I'm really in love with the school and with just a little more $ I'd definitely be ready to commit.

I think it's been asked a couple of times and no one has answered. I'm hoping that they are. I similarly have a great scholarship offer and also great stats for the school compared to its medians/75th percentiles for GPA and LSAT.

I have another scholarship that's going to be great for negotiating with them because of its rank, location, etc. Hoping I can use that to get W&L to up theirs. I'm taking my scholarship award as "we want you, but we want you to show us some interest and that you'll come here before we give you the whole enchilada."

I inquired and they sent me a scholarship offer form to list other schools' offers. They did say they don't reconsider until early March though.

On my status check it says: "Held for further action" but in the follow up email, it says I was wait-listed. Does anyone know if W&L treats these differently?

I was waitlisted today, as well. I think it means the same thing.

I'll be there this weekend too. ...by the way, is the scholarship amount listed on the status checker the total amount of the scholarship for three years or per year?
