They seem to be VERY splitter friendly.
And to clarify, under normal circumstances I wouldn't think anything of not hearing for a month and a half, but that seems counter to the norm for Wash U.
And to boot, Vanderbilt has been extremely reverse splitter friendly this cycle. Historically, WUSTL is always splitter friendly. So it seems like for a quick turnaround Vanderbilt is the place to apply for those with high GPAs and WUSTL is the place to apply for those with high LSATs.
Right, and I understand that, but I'm not a reverse splitter for wash u. I have a 166, which is their median.
I apologize for my previous rant, but I'm trying to figure out why I haven't heard back.

WUSTL's median has gone up to 167. As far as I can tell, nobody admitted with less than 167 has received their scholly offer yet, and those who are below 167 are also having to wait longer to receive their acceptances.

Me, I hope they give me a full-ride though. Interviewing tomorrow, cross my fingers.

I'm seriously considering it. The scholarship offer I received makes it very enticing.
I also RSVP'd for ASW today. Anybody else going to go?
Will there be fun during ASW, is it kind of like dating your future classmates, LOL?

Based on the schedule for the Georgetown ASW in a couple of weeks, it's like 50% recruiting event and 50% dating your future classmates.

Went complete last week and got interview request today. This is one of my target schools so I'm definitely happy about the quick turnaround.

I'm the airport on the way back from a visit and I really enjoyed it!! Definitely more than I was expecting to. Met with admissions and faculty and a student, all incredibly helpful and welcoming. The campus is beautiful and there's a great little downtown area that's about a 10 minute walk.

Did the school help offset the cost of the visit? I'm thinking about going at some point in early March but I'm not sure how much help from them I can count on!

Yes they did! They paid for a night in a hotel (which was right on campus so it was incredibly convenient) and are going to reimburse me for most of my flight. Definitely shoot them an e-mail asap! I know that some schools have a limited amount of funds on reserve to do it

What email did you contact to ask for money to visit? I emailed the general apply email yesterday asking about travel funds, and haven't heard back, which I'm not worried about, but I just want to make sure there's not something I'm missing.

I actually talked to a representative at the LSAC forum about it. I'm sure the regular admissions email is fine. They're just super busy right now

Oh, awesome! Yeah, I'm sure they're swamped with applications right now. Thanks!

That's awesome! I'm going to send them an email later tonight, I really want to head up and check out the campus sometime soon.

According to past threads, phone seems to be the preferred method. I also had mine over the phone and it was great.

How much of an asset would you consider your face to be?

Appreciated asset. But your're kidding, right?
To OP, Skype interviews are more prone to disconnects, problems, etc. You'd also have to be more mindful and look at the camera while talking as opposed to looking at the screen (interviewer)

Not Joking at all. I use multiple platforms for online communication and unless you're trying to call from a Mcdonalds in Somalia or an airplaine, I wouldn't expect dropped calls. I can tell you that for some people the ability to manipulate the muscles around their mouth and eyes into something another person can glean comfort from is a tangible and powerful asset.
google search 2 seconds and first hit
“The bottom line is that how your face looks can significantly influence the success of an interview,” Rice University Professor of Psychology, Mikki Hebl, states.
