Interviewed 02/11 and nothing since, status checker still at 'Interview Requested (02/12). Movement this fast would probably be a bit optimistic to be fairJuliusCaesar wrote:Anyone get any movement after interviewing with the most recent round of interviews?

I was under the impression that your status stays at interviewed until your decision is renderedProductofUnreality wrote:Same. Interviewed Jan 29th..JeanLucPicard wrote:I'm still sitting at interview requested 2/2.

Placed on reserve. I interviewed 1/23. Anyone know how many people are placed on reserve/how good of odds you have of getting in?

Do they send you notification that financial aid documents have been received? The fax machine I was using was being stubborn and I'm not sure that all the pages were sent :s

Have any of you guys that have been placed on reserve but were asked to interview with Dean Ingram in Manhattan been given a set date and time?

From what I understand, reserve is like waitlist, except they actually reconsider applicants at the end of the cycle to "round out the class." The remaining folks are either rejected or Summer waitlisted. However, this was under the old Dean of Admissions. The new Dean could be doing it very differently, especially since she's extended personal interview offers to a few reserved applicants (not sure how many, if everyone got one, or if everyone will get one eventually).genericwit wrote:Placed on reserve. Question -- how select is that invitation? I was a bit confused as to the congratulations above...I mean it seems like it was sent to everyone who was accepted?jtg21 wrote:+1 to the invitation. That's interesting. I have no demonstrated interest in PI... maybe it was based off of quantitative factors alone... just hope it doesn't mean less likely for big scholarship money : )
Nice username, btw

That seems likely- I have okay numbers but I'm a bit of a splitter- I am actually a bit of a PI type of person too.chickensoup1234 wrote:That's interesting. Haha, word, thanks. As long as ppl don't refer to me as 'Chicken' then we're good : )
For Cornell I am a splitter; I'm just above 75 and just below 25. But no PI whatsoever. No idea what the CEHS program is -- couldn't find a page on their website.

In response to the Reserve Interview offers, I'm on reserve but haven't been offered an interview. (Both when I applied and these new special Dean interviews.) Actually pretty concerned about the fact I haven't interviewed in some way yet? There's part of me that wants to ask if it's possible for me to interview in some fashion, but that just feels weird to me. Trying to be patient and not super stalker'y, but also want to show my commitment as much as possible!ls2k16 wrote:From what I understand, reserve is like waitlist, except they actually reconsider applicants at the end of the cycle to "round out the class." Hmmmm, the date on my "Application is ready for review" status just updated to today's. It had been holding at 1/21, the day I submitted. Should I take that to mean it's finally under review?
Congrats to all the recent admits!
