Don't think I'm scholly, YP, or borderline, and I got an interview. :|

Maybe they're throwing darts at a board.

What are your numbers?

I'm no expert but that sounds like you're definitely competitive for a scholarship. If a 175 makes one a contender for a Hamilton, then I can't imagine that a 174 isn't in the running for a Butler.

My interviewer said post-interview decisions will go out by late January, and the spreadsheet on the first page says that the avg wait has been 12 days or something like that
^^

Although I don't think the spreadsheet gives any information at this point. People who have been accepted already are >75//>75, so of course they'll be accepted faster. If you're looking for more info I'd check last year's spreadsheet, but of course there's a big nonresponse bias there -- those who are not accepted hear later, but will probably tend not to update the spreadsheet after hearing back.
All of those Accepted people in the spreadsheet were ED applicants and so are on a different admissions timeframe. No RD acceptances have gone out this cycle.

Anyone above both 75ths who hasn't gotten an interview yet? Kinda bummed that I haven't been interviewed for schollys despite being above both 75ths and no C&F issues :(

Checking in. Just submitted my app and it is completion pending. A question I am seriously considering: is it wise for me to email the adcomm to petition for February LSAT score consideration?
My profile: 167/172, registered for Feb (which I confidently expect 175+). No GPA since I did UG abroad. Have a graduate GPA of 4.26 at Cornell. No WE and average softs.
If I email to petition, I think my application will probably be hold until March when the Feb LSAT score is released, which I assume will put me in a disadvantaged position.
If I do not email anything, will the adcomm just go through my application and give a decision before March, or hold it anyway? Will I be dinged or waitlisted given my current 172? Just too much insecurity about that.
So should I email that petition? Look forward to any suggestion and thx in advance.

What they said on their website is:
For the 2015-2016 admissions cycle, we will consider scores from the February 2016 LSAT from candidates who petition in writing and receive confirmation of petition approval by January 15, 2016. Petitions for 2016 February LSAT score consideration should be emailed to admissions@law.columbia.edu. As we have in past cycles, the Admissions Committee strongly encourages applicants to take the LSAT no later than the December test administration and to complete their applications earlier rather than later in the cycle.

Taking the February LSAT will not harm your chances of admission. However, please be advised that we review applications on a rolling basis; therefore, sitting for the February test administration may place you at a strategic disadvantage.

My not be TCR, but if I were you I would ask them to wait if you're that confident you're score will improve by a considerable margin.

I'm above one 75th and just about at the other 75th and still haven't heard about an interview. :( Love me Columbia.

I'm sure that's true but that doesn't mean I can't want them to demonstrate their affection right now. 8) :P
