Right here. My interview like redefined the term average. And I got in a couple weeks later! Gl.slimshady wrote:Interviewed recently. It wasn't terrible, but it was no home run either. Can anyone offer something positive (like getting accepted despite an average-seeming interview)? Thanks all!

Pretty sure I saw more than one person who said their interviews went poorly who got Butlers.slimshady wrote:Interviewed recently. It wasn't terrible, but it was no home run either. Can anyone offer something positive (like getting accepted despite an average-seeming interview)? Thanks all!

For those of you who interviewed, did you receive an email confirmation after signing up for the interview? The page says that a confirmation will be emailed prior to the interview, but I haven't received mine yet (and my interview is this week). Thanks so much, and sorry if this has been asked already!

The email doesn't come from Columbia. It's some weird automatic "noreply" appointments plus sender. I'd check your spam folder if you haven't already.maddyfatty wrote:Did anyone receive an email confirmation after signing up for the interview? Thanks for the quick reply! There's no confirmation in my spam folder either - I'll just reach out to the admissions office tomorrow to confirm.gamerish wrote:The email doesn't come from Columbia. When I interviewed recently I didn't receive a confirmation until 2 days before the interview so I wouldn't necessarily worry about it if yours is scheduled for later in the week.maddyfatty wrote:Did anyone receive an email confirmation after signing up for the interview? Mine showed up a few days later (same admit date), and I live on the West Coast. Though that being said, another school's packet took two or more weeks to arrive after my acceptance.yes_plz1868 wrote:Have any of the recent admits received their physical admissions letter/packet in the mail yet? Interviewed in December (above both 75s), no notification either. my (optimistic) theory is that we are on the border between non-named scholarships and Butlers, or between Butlers and Hamiltons, and the folks at admissions want to see how much money they have left before releasing admits, since they appear to be giving named scholarship notifications with and only with initial acceptances. Thoughts?
