Been sitting at UR1 since 2/1. Guess that's not as bad as some, but c'mon NYU. The anxiety is killin' me.

NYU is killing me. WL'd at Columbia and I'd really, really like to be in at NYU -- NYC is the dream, man.

Sent then a LOCI after that evil little teaser in February as well as an additional, strong academic LoR I was able to procure (being out of school for several years seriously sucked, man).

Agh. Wish I could hear back in the next week. I live down south and am planning a trip up north in the week I have off from teaching to visit schools I've been admitted to before making a final decision...

I have been UR1 since 1/14. I applied to H and NYU on the same day and I have already been admitted at H. Wondering what is going on here. Grateful for any insight...

For what it's worth, I was WLed at Columbia and got a good scholarship from NYU, so there's definitely still a chance that you'll end up in NYC.

Seeing some movement from the early appers makes me kind of hopeful. Kinda resigned myself to the waitlist at this point, though. Damn you, NYU. I would kill to go here.

Yeah i'm not really sure what's going on, UR2 since 12/18...I should be a presumptive reject based on my numbers. And plenty of people with better numbers who applied after me have gotten rejected according to LSN. Stop giving me false hope NYU!

Submitted 1/11. Very confident it'd be an auto rej but haven't heard from them for a long time. Checked today and saw the status 03/15.
Wonder what it means? (Sorry if this has been asked before but I never bother to check with NYU since pretty sure it's a rej. )

Checked last year's thread and some people were waiting to hear until late April...is that the norm for NYU?

NYU doesn't seem to start putting people on the waitlist until April...so that doesn't seem like an unreasonable occurrence.

Went UR2 yesterday (had been sitting at UR1 since 2/1). Hopefully that means a decision is coming soon. At this point, I'm expecting a waitlist, because that seems to be how my cycle is going.
