Ok so I just called the admissions office and asked about the waitlist process. I didn't get as much info as I'd hoped, and most of it we already know, but here's what I found out:
-they accept checks, money orders, online payments etc. for the deposits (deadline was June 1), so as those are still rolling in they're determining how many seats that they'll have open. They are now starting to reassess the WL as they figure that out
-we can hear from them anytime from now until the first day of class
-the waitlist is not ranked, they will assess the whole list
-they appreciate our patience

The woman I talked to was super nice and positive, and confirmed that they have my LOCI and supplemental materials and that they know I'm still interested.

Ugh yeah I know. Honestly I eased up a bit on my questions because I didn't want to seem too pushy, but someone ballsier than me could take a shot at it.

CONGRATS! Do you have any idea of when they'll send you information on how much scholarship you've been awarded?

Thank you!! Actually the adcomm that I spoke with told me that they were not able to offer me any scholarship money (I don't know if that pertains specifically to me or if they're out of $ to give). It's far from ideal but I will still be enrolling. I'd rather pay more for BC than attend Northeastern.

Good luck everyone!!

I just may be overly optimistic but when I called the Admissions Office a few weeks ago, they told me they can accept wait listed students up until the first day of orientation. Also, July 15 is the day that most schools tuition payment is due so it's possible that some folks get accepted after that too.
I'm still keeping faith alive, clearly lol

Did you ask if that was the case with BC law when you called?

At schools where that is that case, is it the full amount of tuition of just a hefty fraction of it?

Also, I have a question for WL students.

Apart from sending in supplemental materials (LOCI, Essays, campus visit, etc) what has your contact with the school amounted to? Have you been calling or e-mailing them each month or every few weeks since you were wait listed? If so, what was the content of such correspondence?

at the school i've deposited at and other schools i was waitlisted for, it seemed that it was for the full amount of the fall semester. sadly, i didn't ask if that was the case for BC, but i did check their website yesterday and students were billed in June for a due date in August (https://www.bc.edu/schools/law/admission/finaid.html, if you go down to the "Tuition" section)
