This is a totally valid sub-post if you ask me. Sometimes people who are waitlisted/under review don't want to follow a dozen pages of scholly negotiations to find others like them.

I agree. I'm also still in review....

have you had any contact with a specific admissions officer? if so, I would try calling him/her to ask for an update on the status of your file. if not, I would say email the general admissions email...
