That is a long time to get an answer back. Really hope they speed up the process a little.Islandboy2015 wrote:I talked to the admissions office this morning over the phone. It sounds as if people from the admissions committee have been somewhat busy lately. However, I've been complete since November so it has been a pain waiting for my file to be reviewed. The lady I spoke to said I was in the queue and would probably go under review next week. We'll see though.
That is very good. Are you going to attend Ole Miss then?rwil163 wrote:I was accepted with approximately ~90% scholarship around February 12th. I submitted app on December 12th
I hope to get in and get some of that money thenrwil163 wrote:No I won't be, I'll be attending LSU. If I would not have gotten accepted to LSU I would definitely be headed to Oxford. (already live in Baton Rouge, undergrad at LSU)
Can I ask your stats if you don't mind? Are you planning on attending? How long did it take to get the acceptance?JWF2018 wrote:In Feb 25 with full tuition

Islandboy2015 wrote:I finally went under "pre-evaluation" after sitting complete since November. Hopefully, they're quick with their decision cause I'll be out of the country next week. :/
Oh man I hope I don't have to wait that long. And I guess they will probably email you, so it doesn't really matter if you are out of the country or not.Islandboy2015 wrote:I finally went under "pre-evaluation" after sitting complete since November. Unless I'm reading the status checker wrong I think they only send decisions through the mail. That for me is the stressful part, potentially not knowing until I get back from break.RomanRebel wrote:Oh man I hope I don't have to wait that long. Wow, I did not realize that. Maybe they do both. Anyways, very stressful process!Islandboy2015 wrote:Unless I'm reading the status checker wrong I think they only send decisions through the mail. I know they have a Dean’s Scholarships, that are valued at more than $17,000, but I have no idea how many they assign each year. Hoping for one as wellKAYCEE wrote:Does anyone know how liberal they are with giving out scholarships for out-of-state to make it equal to in-state tuition?

I heard somewhere that for some reason they take longer to review the out of state applications. I really hope to hear back this week, the deadlines for seat deposits elsewhere are approaching fastKAYCEE wrote:RomanRebel wrote:I know they have a Dean’s Scholarships, that are valued at more than $17,000, but I have no idea how many they assign each year. I applied earlier this month so I'm not sure how they are going to view my late application. I just really hope it doesn't take as long as people are saying is taking for them. I have a seat deposit due the 1st of April somewhere else, and I want to know before I spend money on that.
My status changed to pre-evaluation about 10 days ago. Still haven't heard anything though. I have the same problem for deposits, and will have to do the same thing. I am also pretty sure that you lose your spot if you don't send the deposit.KAYCEE wrote:I haven't heard anything else back. Maybe we will after today since a lot of seat deposits are due. I have another deposit due at another school... I guess I'll go ahead and send it in. Does anyone know if you automatically lose your seat if you deposit after deadline?
