Got my acceptance today as well. I wish we didn't have to wait for them to send scholarship information.

Did anyone on here go to last Tuesday's open house? It was my first look at the building, I thought it was pretty neat.

I didn't go last Tuesday, but I checked the building out this summer! Seems pretty nice and in a good location!DavidConeSplitter wrote:Did anyone on here go to last Tuesday's open house? It was my first look at the building, I thought it was pretty neat.

I asked the interim dean at the open house last Tuesday and he said they're working on it now, distributing the fund they have, but he was super vague about it :/ i can't wait to find out myself...
I loved the school a lot, but I'm still not sure about living in Boston, what do you guys think? Any prospects after the law somewhere outside Massachusetts?

I personally LOVE Boston and can't wait to move there, but I understand your hesitations because its a large city with expensive housing. This is a strong regional school from everyone I've talked too, they said that most people are placed/find jobs in the immediate Boston areas, and because Suffolk is one of the biggest law schools in the country, you'll always find Suffolk law grads in law firms around the area.fidan.karimli wrote:I asked the interim dean at the open house last Tuesday and he said they're working on it now, distributing the fund they have, but he was super vague about it :/ i can't wait to find out myself...

I love the school, it's just i recently moved from boston area to nyc and am planning to practice law here, that's why I am a little cautious about Suffolk's placement outside Massachusetts. But needless to say, it's a pretty strong school in Boston and I know a lot of people who had gone there and are very happy about it now, and of course they live in Boston area currently.
