Thing is, they don't charge a lot for those prospects. I don't see why people would bash cuny when it's one of the few schools that's a relatively affordable. If anything more ttt schools should follow that model.

great point, didn't realize this. $14k has got to be among the lowest tuitions in the country.
also didn't realize that the place has a
severe PI slant. OP, something to consider if you haven't already.

It's actually lower than that. In state it's something like 7500, out of state maybe 13. For kids that want to stay local it doesn't have great placement but it's prob the most reasonable option without good numbers.

Many are chasing their own tail. Others are "trapped" in an unlocked closet.

cheers to all
edit: also i got a fee waiver, so theres nothing i lost except for some lunch money to lsac :p

why would it be flame? What would lead you to believe that? Sounds like some people who want a law education for a good price in their general area. For the price it is, it seems perfectly fair to try to make a thread and meet people in a similar situation.

I concur with you.[/Those of us who are serious about becoming PI Attorneys, and do not want or cannot afford to pay an arm and a leg for an outrageously high tuition, are grateful for CUNY Law. Although it is affordable, it is still a competitive law school, and have produced some outstanding alumnus who went on to do extraordinary legal work in society. Some even became Judges. quote]

This is the Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists forum. No discussing the merits of the particular school here.
