I did not see a thread for LSU yet, so here we go. My app has been complete since 11/24 and all I have gotten is an email to set up my PAWS account.

Anyone else heard something?

Heard from some reliable sources, that know the Dean of Admissions, that we won't hear anything till mid to late January.

Your "reliable source" isn't very reliable. Status check shows Decision Made for me.

Yeah I was admitted by phone today, my source clearly dropped the ball on this one.

I got in today as well by phone. Does anyone know if they give equalizers to out of state people

My username info for the status checker had gone to my spam mail, so I was just able to check it today. It said decision has been made as of 12/12.
No phone call for me today though. Hopefully this week!

Might have to make the trip down to Baton Rouge to get a sense of the place.

I completed application yesterday and went under review today. I hope I'll hear back sooner than 4-6 weeks but also hear good news!!!

eta: For those who have been given a decision, how long were you under review?

I got in last year but had to defer due to military commitment. I will see any of you who come in August.

I just received my letter this afternoon with a full tuition scholarship, so if you applied pretty early and haven't gotten your letters yet, they should be coming soon.

I applied in late November, and no, I never saw a change. I just got a phone call before Christmas and a letter yesterday.

So, it said Under Review this whole time?

Yes, unfortunately. Don't know why it didn't change.

Applied 1/6, under review 1/8. My status updated on 1/30 with Decision Made, then phone call that same day with acceptance. Letter on the way, no email. Deposits updated yesterday.

Interesting that everyone's experience seems to have been different. Good luck to all applying and I'll see anyone starting this year in August!

Funny how everyone has undergone something different. I applied on december 12 and received my decision on january 15th via email. I then received a package in the mail 5 days later containing scholarship info. I can't wait to start at LSU Law in the fall with a 25% scholarship per year.

Is it easy to get in state status for LSU? I'm from FL, and after looking at the numbers, I don't think I can afford it, as I have to move my whole family.

I don't know about getting in state, but depending on yours scholarship offer, they generally try to get you down to in state tuition in price. But know scholarships are based completely on LSAT
