I'm a little shocked not to see more check ins. Applied 10/3, haven't heard anything since. Hoping this isn't one on my list that moves painfully slow.

Does anyone know if Cardozo looks at applications even though they are incomplete due to a pending future LSAT date? All materials are in, including a past LSAT score.

My understanding is that schools wait to review until all numbers and documents come in. I think once the LSAT score comes in that the file would be moved on to the review process assuming all other materials have been received.

I was just curious because all of my statuses either say "Ready for Review" or "Complete File" besides Cardozo's. They did mention at the top of my status checker that files will be listed as "Incomplete" if you checked on the application that you plan on taking the LSAT in the future. So I was wondering if I would even be considered seeing that I do have all my materials in, including a past LSAT score.

Thanks for imparting your wisdom
My major concern is the accessibility of clinics. I know at every school there is competition to get in, but the clinics at Cardozo are one of my main motivations for applying. I'd hate to send the time and money to attend and not be able to experience any. What's your take on the accessibility?

Should be decently accessible as long as your grades are decent. There's a plethora of opportunities available. I can't comment too much on them, however, as they don't start until 2L and we haven't really been told much about them yet.

Congrats! Did you apply for September 2015 admission? I was going to apply for January but I called admissions and they told me they canceled that.

Missed a phone call from them today. What will happen now? Will they call again or just send an email/letter?

I guess they're making calls again. I picked it up, didn't hear anything, hung up, then googled the number.
I suck.

Anyone thinking about hitting up the 2/16 ASD?
Just booked my tickets; looking forward to seeing Cardozo and exploring the city for a day or two.

I'm considering making the trip. I'm still waiting on my admitted students packet though. I don't even know how to log in to the admitted section.

How is the job search going for you and most of the classmates you know? Also, do you know if they do any stipends for travel to NYC? And where is a good place to live in the area that accept pets? I know it seems like a random hodgepodge so sorry!

I have a jerb, thanks.
Most of my classmates, no, unfortunately.
They should give stipends for travel as far as I know?
And there are plenty pet-friendly places (I have one).

Yeah, I emailed them about stipends and they sent me a pretty thorough PDF about it. I can get a 400 reimbursement coming from CO.
I've got a couple questions...
How much a year do people typically budget for living expenses?
How much does a tiny studio apartment run in Manhattan? What about Brooklyn?
Recommendations for things to check out the day after ASD?

Spend a couple days there as a teenager doing touristy stuff with the 'rents. Other than that, this will be my first opportunity to really get a sense of the place.
