Figured I'd Start the thread to let everyone know acceptances are coming out. I got admitted earlier this AM, 10/17 - status checker says "Congratulations! Your admission letter has been mailed," but no email notifying me of decision. No idea if scholarship stuff is in there or if it comes later.

Checking in! My status checker has said "Review" since 10/24. I'm hoping to hear something soon! My numbers are a little lower but crossing my fingers! Good Luck!!

Stats as well, if you're willing.

Applied last week and got accepted this morning. Offered me in state tuition and a decent scholarship. Will probably visit sometime next semester to see if I like the campus and everything.

I got accepted a few weeks ago! I got a formal letter in the mail indicating my acceptance along with an email! Does anyone know when/how they send you information about scholarships? Did anyone set up their vol email yet?

They sent my scholarships stuff the day after I got accepted. Do you think you'll attend UT?

I am considering it! I am out of state so scholarships would definitely help! Are you planning on it?

Got my scholarship info- tuition equalizer + some on top. Does anyone know how open UT is to negotiating? They would climb into my final 4 if I was just paying room and board

Coming from out-of-state, I received the same tuition equalizer and a decent scholarship. I was accepted about a month ago and notified yesterday that my scholarship had been increased by $1,500. Not a ton but definitely a good sign since it was unsolicited. I plan on visiting and possible talking to a financial rep to possibly get it higher.

Mine was 45k total bumped to a full tuition & fees scholarship (instate) yesterday. Unsolicited as well. The admissions staff at Tennessee have been wonderful to deal with, so I wouldn't hesitate to try and negotiate with them.

In Review as of 1/26. Does anyone have any insight on how long I should expect for a decision?

I had an extremely quick turnaround...I was excepted in little over a week

Did any of you see an update to your status checker before you received your decision through call, mail, or email? Thanks guys

Accepted this morning via email.

Accepted via Snail Mail in a thin envelope that looked like a rejection letter!

No mention of Financial Aid yet.
