Have there been any more waves of need-based aid going out? I still haven't received mine, nor have I received a response to my negotiation email.

Still waiting as well. They held my app for my Feb LSAT tho, so I was "complete" a bit late (3/3). LSAT & GPA > 75%.

Complete since 2/3 no movement whatsoever... I think they're still accepting apps until April 30, so it might still be a while..

Same, it's frustrating since deposits are in two days.

If BU hasn't negotiated with me on my two attempts does it make sense to double deposit and hope they negotiate after the deadline? All my schools gave me the same amount of money- BC and GW are the other two I tried to use to negotiate.

I received a little need-based aid at the end of last week, so they're still going out I think.

I've had the same result. Two attempts, two "we will add this info to your file" type of responses, no movement on my merit scholarship yet. I'm going to double deposit and continue negotiating, and this is a common strategy but it's pretty difficult to guess if it will work or not. I think it's worth the risk of burning a deposit for the chance at a little extra scholarship money.

From SC:
applicants who complete their applications by February 1 will receive a decision by early April
I don't think anytime after tomorrow, the 15th, counts as early April anymore.. so.... decision today?

I was hoping today would be the day :(
I really didn't want to have to put down a deposit tomorrow while still waiting on schools... ugh.

Anyone else waiting? I wonder if there's any hope for an acceptance at this point.

Anyone else still waiting for a decision? I've heard from every other school besides BU. A bit odd that there's been no communication with deposit deadlines imminent. Been complete since 3/3.

Are there any current students here who would be able to answer some of our questions? It'd be much appreciated!

I am wondering what the First-Year Lawyering lab thing is. It's scheduled for before Spring classes start,on Jan 4-8th and I'm wondering whether it's mandatory.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if it's mandatory but they put you in groups and run you through things like practical negotiation, client interaction, and other practice-focused topics.

To update people on the waitlist, there's about 80 people who have committed to BUif I go solely off of introductions on Facebook. There's 258 members in the group, but that includes a good handful of current BU students (maybe 15 to 20?) and a few admission officers.

I still haven't heard from BU regarding my application status, is it possible to request a refund of the application fee?
