LOR Writer Email
Has anyone heard from one of their LOR writers that they received an email from Dean of Admissions Andrew Cornblatt? I'm assuming it's a form email, but I'm itching for a response, even it's a denial! I need answers!

Almost 100% guarantee no school is going to tell your recommender that you are being denied.

No, they're not. That doesn't mean it's an indicator of an acceptance versus a denial. It looks as though from going through earlier cycles this morning that it could mean decisions are coming soon. At the end of the day I just want responses so I can figure out where I'll be living next year.Winston1984 wrote:Almost 100% guarantee no school is going to tell your recommender that you are being denied.

OP i crunched the numbers and the correlation between your recommender receiving an email and getting accepted is r=0.37, p=0.24. hope that helps.

I would just relax.. It's ridiculously early in the cycle.LawGirlAtx wrote:No, they're not. That doesn't mean it's an indicator of an acceptance versus a denial.
