Yes, but other schools in Texas (not UT) seemed to respond well using them as a negotiating tool last year.

If you're instate. Oos tuition is brutal

Even then, they offer in-state waiver + small money to compete.

Nope. I wouldn't expect anything for awhile.

The first posted acceptance in last year's thread seems to be in mid-December.

I just got my completion status, but judging from past years the first decsions go out mid-late November.

checking in... complete 10/30, haven't heard anything back. Accepted to Alabama with $ and I can log onto Baylor's Admitted Students page with LSAC #, but haven't received my letter yet

Mine hasn't changed since I went complete on 10/7. Whomp Whomp. I haven't seen any decisions posted on LSN. Thinking we'll start to see the first decisions before Christmas.

My status checker changed yesterday - it has been application complete for almost a month and switched to "file in review" on 11/17

Mine changed yesterday too. Crossing my fingers that we'll see the first decisions before Thanksgiving.
