UCONN WAITLIST

Has anyone been wait listed from UCONN? Or have any knowledge on how the wait list works? I applied to UCONN late in the game (May), and by surprise was wait listed. I have sent emails and call every two weeks - but still nothing. I need to make a decision soon on a school - any advice?
