Yes! At least, I think it's UR2. I can't keep up with all the dates of my apps, but it might be UR3 too....gxsmile wrote:UR2 yesterday. Anyone else?

My status date changed, but it still says Under review. Does this mean anything? Or am I just delirious from looking at it so many times?

So based on what I had read in someone's earlier post/ communication w Dean Hoye, I was under the assumption that PRs were continuously reexamined, so we could get responses at any point. But this is leading me to think that it's basically a small step above the waitlist. Does anyone have definitive info?

Current Status: Under review
Current Status Date: 2/23/2015
And yes it's already Apr. 9th, 2015. People are getting old, seriously. And I just have no idea if it's great news or not to have no updates for such a long time.
I have to say that Duke law is one of the most silent law schools in my mailbox and on status checker. I'm wondering if Charlottesville is frozen or something xD

Here's my understanding of the process (based off of a conversation with Dean Hoye, most of the details filled in with blind conjecture):neubreed wrote:lawschool1741 wrote:Probably not tbh, deposit deadline isn't until late April.supersplittysplitter wrote:Anybody think priority reserve movement would happen earlier?

They don't anticipate any PR/WL movement until early-mid May. The deposit deadline is April 24th, and I would imagine more students will deposit than matriculate (many will withdraw after being pulled from WL at other schools). Once spaces become available, they'll review their medians (and identify any demographic holes they may have) and make offers accordingly. Though the PR candidate pool is reviewed continuously, they still have to evaluate their own needs before they can make offers.
I'm sure there's more to the process, but this is my (limited) understanding of what to expect.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks. Well, here's to several more weeks of sitting with my thumbs up my bum, slowly wasting away from the lack of news.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
