Accepted as well. Similar stats. I love Northwestern. It was my top choice going in, but I have received a really nice scholarship offer from another t14 and deposited there. I hope NW can match. Does anyone know if held admits typically get $?lane wrote:163/3.82. Hopefully more decisions come out today. Been held for a while, I just want a decision so I can finalize my plans already.

Yeah I've deposited as well. Still, would be great to have this option. I was an NU undergrad so I kind of had my heart set on it.

NU... i just don't understand. We could have been the best of friends... But right now you're being that person who doesn't message back right away even though i know you saw the message. Worst...

I feel like this process at every school has a lot of analogues to dating, but NU feels the most like a bad boyfriend.hodzdoh wrote:NU... i just don't understand. I agree with the premise you set up, but it's easily Berk as the worst significant other. NU just is the significant other who takes forever to respond to plans, and by that time you already made plans with your friends.tuxedocat wrote:I feel like this process at every school has a lot of analogues to dating, but NU feels the most like a bad boyfriend.hodzdoh wrote:NU... i just don't understand. I dunno man, I'd rather have someone reject me outright instead of play the "uhh I just don't know what I want" game for a year.KMart wrote:I agree with the premise you set up, but it's easily Berk as the worst significant other. It is not about playing games but how they wanted it to be.tuxedocat wrote:I dunno man, I'd rather have someone reject me outright instead of play the "uhh I just don't know what I want" game for a year.KMart wrote:I agree with the premise you set up, but it's easily Berk as the worst significant other. Is it even worth applying after the interview period has passed?

If you are somehow that attractive of a candidate that you could apply now and get in, please do yourself a favor and sit out this cycle. Save some money up and do something fun for the next year. If you were to get in this late I really doubt you would get anywhere near the amount of scholarship money that you would by applying in September/October.

Re: Northwestern Law c/o 2018 Applicants
No one else finds it hilarious that they are still accepting new applications? Why would you do that if you have a gazillion held and WL applicants? I know they want to have the best possible incoming class, I'm just ranting cause it's been more than 7 months since I applied...
