Guide to Acronyms

JS1: Invitation to interview with either Jessica Soban (Admissions Dean) or another interviewer. With very few exceptions, all admitted applicants have this interview before being admitted. It is conducted, again with few exceptions, over Skype. Interviews often last anywhere from 8 to 20 minutes.
More on the Skype Interview
JS1b: A phone call from Jessica Soban, generally later in the process, clarifying continued interest in attending Harvard Law. Often goes to people who have been held or waitlisted.
JSW: Being placed on the Harvard waitlist. This decision is communicated via email. This acronym was decided by the vote of last year's thread.
JS2: A call from Jessica Soban offering admittance to Harvard Law School.
LoCI: Letter of Continued Interest

I wish I had the GPA to apply.... Although that graph makes it look like someone with a 2.8 and 148 got in.... either I'm reading that wrong, or someone's trolling...
Yeah probably just a troll. Or a military vet URM with a Rhodes or something, but I doubt it.

This should just replace VERITAS

Depending on my LSAT, this is the general area of rejection that I will inevitably fall into:

I had a very involved daydream this morning, where I got a 180 and they actually admitted me. Not gonna happen, but yolo
The are two greens right above you. If you could get that LSAT up by few points there might be a chance. ;)

Checking in! Had a chance to visit the campus the other week...it is HUGE; most other law schools could fit into their WCC student center. Quite pretty too, apart from the Soviet-style student housing just east of the WCC.

Well I got a 179 on my PT yesterday, hence the unrealistic optimism...but still... dat GPA.
Offset it with a 177+

That was 172 with a 3.2 that got in-right? I'm looking at it via my iPhone so I can't tell for sure.

I think it's closer to 3.3... And yeah I'd only even apply to HLS if I had a 177+

Thank you! Can 'not gonna happen but yolo' become an acronym on TLS? Like, NGHBY. I feel that it applies to so many things.

Sort of like "good luck, follow your dreams," but less of a joke?
I plan on checking into Y and S with that too.

It's a long shot, but checking in...

Edit: Also, just want to note how insane it is that 43% of TLS applicants from last year's spreadsheet were admitted, even if there's some self-selection going on. Way to make me feel inadequate, TLS.
