I got a card inviting me to the "alumni & admitted students reception" for Davis today. I imagine I'm getting it first, so I thought I'd give y'all a heads up. The one in LA is on thursday, march 26 from 5:30-7 and the one in SF is on wednesday, april 22 from 5:30-7. They're both at pretty well respected Biglaw firms in the respective cities.

When do ppl start finding out about $$$ at UCD?

I received an estimated grant a few days after the fin aid deadline.

i received an estimate. then i asked when i might get a final package. they said they planned to have final offers to people before the 4/15 deadline. someone on here told me that they have never heard of a case where the estimate didn't end up being the final.

My status checker still says "evaluation in progress", but there's suddenly a link to "Waiting List Response Form". Do I assume I'm WL, or does everyone have this horrible thing?

if you click on it, it autofills with your info...creepy, and sad.

FWIW when I was accepted, there was no link to a WL response form, just a link to a .pdf of the acceptance letter.

I wouldn't read into it too much. I was admitted last week and the waiting list response form just showed up for me as well.
And yes, when a decision was reached it linked to a PDF.

I wouldn't freak out too much. If already admitted students have the waitlist response link, then it is clearly an error. I would go ahead and trust whatever it says next to current status. Although if I was in your position I suppose would want some reassurance from them as well.

Just spoke to the office (I was the 3rd call about this, she said)....

This DOES NOT MEAN we are waitlisted....

We will still get the normal decision pdf, etc.
