Complete since 11/18 and I've been on "Evaluation in Progress" for at least 2 months now.

Can we get a count of people who are still waiting to hear back?

My file's complete since 1/13.

Complete since 12/23, according to LSN I have approximately a week's wait (maybe a little bit longer) since I'm not auto-admit.

Complete since 12/22. Evaluation in Progress for ages. Stopped checking the status checker for a long time, so I don't know exactly when that all started. They're taking ridiculously long. Especially when a school I applied to 2 months later gets back to me faster.

been "awaiting evaluation" for awhile. but I wasn't complete until 2/17.

I was pretty much autoadmit (GPA and LSAT at the 75th) and it still took them from mid-November to last week to get back to me. Davis just works at its own special pace; have patience and they'll get back to you.

I can't believe this thread is still up. For all of you wondering about Davis, yes it is very slow to get back. I didn't get accepted until after their deadline for first deposits (which was a little weird), but the only competition was Hastings and I had no desire to go there. I also didn't apply until late Jan. so that might have been a problem as well. The only tip I can give is to call in. I was very fortunate to have one of the ladies in admissions bump my application into the review part of admissions. Once it goes in "review" there is about a 2 week wait.

I just got an email from the Davis financial aid office letting me know about my "estimated" grant. It's very appealing, but I don't know if I can rely on an estimate too much.

Does anybody know how reliable these estimates are and if they'll give me a "final" amount before I have to make a decision?

Very accurate. I've never known anyone who didn't get their estimate. The final comes after you have made your decision, but I wouldn't worry.

It took me from 12/4 to 2 weeks ago. Be patient. Good things come to those who wait.

I got a card inviting me to the "alumni & admitted students reception" for Davis today. I imagine I'm getting it first, so I thought I'd give y'all a heads up. The one in LA is on thursday, march 26 from 5:30-7 and the one in SF is on wednesday, april 22 from 5:30-7. They're both at pretty well respected Biglaw firms in the respective cities.
