I am on the wait list I sent my second LOCI on May 27th, 2014. An email went out stating they will contact folks before July 1st.

Should I respond to that email or is the LOCI from May 27th sufficient?

I don't want to appear annoying but I want them to know I will accept a spot if offered.
If you sent them two LOCIs then I'm sure they already know you want to attend. Emailing them would probably annoy them as they still have a couple days before July 1 to contact you

You *did* send in the seat deposit, right?

Hmm - does being on a waitlist exempt you from the seat deposit deadlines? I always thought that if you were still deciding between multiple schools (or still on one or more waitlists), you pretty much had to suck up possibly paying multiple seat deposits in order to keep your various options open. I may be completely wrong about that though.

You do NOT pay a school that has not formally accepted you.

Exactly! The only reason why I mentioned the deposit....once they know who how many folks sent in a deposit they can decide if they can offer admission to the students on the waitlist.

no his post is just incoherent. He's on the waitlist and is looking for movement post second deposit deadline. It's unclear if he has actually deposited elsewhere at a school he was admitted to.

Well, I *was* wrong, too - I thought that you had to make the seat deposits in order to demonstrate continued interest (I guess with the understanding that you'd get it back if you were denied or left the waitlist).
