Waitlisted at 5, accepted at 2, rejected at 1

Any on more than 5 waitlists or am i a special snowflake?

I am on 9... Only plan on attending 5 of those though.

Sooooo frustrating. Nothing like keeping your hopes up for a 10-15 % chance of acceptance

Got my 8th today. Only plan on keeping up with 3-4 though.

I hit 7 this cycle. Only still on one. Withdrew from the rest. Can't complain at all about my final outcome but I essentially got my acceptances first - which made me quite optimistic for the rest of the decisions - and then it rained WLs.

On 6 currently.

Don't get discouraged. A friend of mine was on 6 waitlists two cycles ago, and she eventually get into her first choice.

Don't give up hope. I am waitlisted at 4 schools but got off of one already. Some of it may be YP.

Was on 4 last cycle, and got rejected from all 4 in August. Talk about a crappy summer...

Waitlisted at 6 (withdrew from 3), expecting the 7th and the 8th, and want to attend only 1.

I've got 7. Glad I'm not the only one riding it out for a handful of schools.

make that five, although not the one i was expecting.

i will probably stay on all of them. except maybe gulc. they r buttheads.

I withdrew two since I was admitted to better schools and those two were a surprise I wasn't an autoadmit. The other 5 were my 3 "reach" schools and my top 2 standard schools. Hypothetically if I was accepted to one of the schools I define as "standard" I would still ride the waitlist for the 3 reach schools but drop the other "standard" school.
