Indiana Law Maurer admitted student email mistake

Hi. I just received an email regarding how to apply for FAFSA for IU-Maurer admitted students. However, a couple hours later, the admissions office sent an email saying this was a mistake and that they're still processing and reviewing my application.
Did this happen to anyone else who applied to IU? Or has it happend to anyone for other law schools?
Some people say that I could argue for admissions if I end up being rejected.
I was wondering what others think about this. Should I argue for admissions?

I was very angry about this email. Some people say that I could argue for admissions if I end up being rejected.

No. It was a mistake. Mistakes happen. Hope for the best and move on. If I got an email from someone arguing for admissions on the basis of a mistakenly sent email, I would probably laugh in front of my computer screen before sharing it with the rest of the office to brighten their days

Ok thanks guys. Just wanted to know. I haven't received an email regarding my app, but I hope I get in. It's one of my top choices.
I didn't think arguing was realistic, but I was pretty dissapointed by the email.
Anyways, thanks again for the replies.

But did anyone else who applied to IU get this email? And is this something that happens frequently?

I was wait listed and got the email. It didn't bother me though and I didn't think anything of it since sometimes schools will send FAFSA emails to potential students (I.e. Wait list/decision pending) telling them to apply for FAFSA just in case. This is what I assumed it was.

It was probably a list serv error, so probably more people got it, but there aren't very many IUM applicants on this board.
Edit: Scooped

IU did you a favor by not admitting you. It's an awful school.

Don't go to IU (at sticker, which I am assuming here) anyways.

Crappy email mistake, but not the
worst that has been made by an admissions office in recent years.

Basically this sums it up.
You'd be better off becoming a priest for three years.
