It's just the news update for Columbia Law. It has nothing to do with application status.

I don't think this means anything relating to your application.

Roughly translated, they're saying, "jfc, people, we are aware that some applucants haven't gotten any sort of decision yet. We're working on it, so be patient and stop calling the admissions office so we can spend less time on the phone placating neurotic 0Ls and more time evaluating applications."

I got this email and I did not even apply.

I was accepted and I too, also got this email.
