After a bunch of discussion this year and last year, I created a rankings-based poll to see what people would decide between HYS and CCN with schollies. Curious what people would choose. Totally anonymous - would appreciate responses and I'll post the results!

This is a great idea! I had such a hard time ranking these. I feel oddly relieved that I'm going to have far fewer options to choose from when decision time rolls around.

Just a thought here, but the NYU RTK option might not yield the most meaningful results because the sample has an unknown quantity of Public Interest people. But that's just a minor little thing.

We've gotten 272 responses, which is so solid, thanks all! I need to run to work but I'll work on compiling the results and posting here later on today. If the results aren't in an easy to display format, I might just give everyone the username and password (I created this acct just for this).

So SurveyMonkey essentially held the results hostage until I paid them money, hence the delay. Here is the breakdown thus far:

#1 Choice:

1: Yale at Sticker (42.9%, 139 responses)
2: Columbia Hamilton (17.59%, 57 responses)
3: Harvard at sticker (17.34%, 56 responses)
4: Stanford at sticker (11.42%, 37 responses)
5: Chicago full tuition scholly (7.1%, 23 responses)
6: NYU full tuition scholly (2.16%, 7 responses)
7: NYU RTK (1.23%, 4 responses)
8: Columbia at sticker (0.31%, 1 response)- troll
9: No votes for the Butler or half tuition at Chicago

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Yale is the big winner for #1. Here's the full chart. There are also some weird graphics I'm trying to figure out and will have here later.

Must have been diehard Harvard fans. I put Yale in my top three, but many Harvard friends would rather do just about anything than go to Yale lol.
