I talked to their Dean of financial aid and it sounded like they aren't likely to mess with the stipulations. Anybody have a different experience? Which other schools did you use in the negotiation? (assuming you used some)

I went into review around the beginning of December and had a decision the last day of January.

Do you mind sharing amt of scholly and if they had any stips on there?

They gave me 15,960 a year. It is like 2/3 tuition because I am in-state. I don't think there were any stips.
Idk about admitted students day lol I don't remember seeing anything about it

can you recheck your letter to see if there were any stips? I was also offered 2/3 tuition but out of state prices, and states that I will have to remain in the top 50 percent. also can you post your stats? I know that usually when you have higher stats they like to give you that "good academic standing" stipulation, but I could be wrong. I just want to know if fighting the stipulation is worth it, thanks!

I'll be there. I just live right across the border in southern utah, so it will be a short drive for me for $800 against tuition.

I believe seat deposit is the 7th, not the 15th.

I haven't heard a thing....I was later applying and submitted in early March (before the deadline!). However, I went Complete and In Review immediately. No word since. I have been told their deposit date is the 7th so I'd think movement would start after that....

I got the same response. In speaking with the Dean of Admissions, I was told that regional/local applicants generally get preferential treatment to those out of state applicants.
