I, too, have applied here. I applied 10/29, and I'm in review as of 11/20.

So today I got this huge envelope in the mail today labeled from SC and of course I assumed it was a letter. Nope, it was the viewbook.
Thanks a lot for that, guys.

Finally! There *is* a U of SC thread! I was beginning to go a little crazy. I have been at "file complete" since 10/16. Logically, I know these things come in cycles, still ... I'm trying to not get paranoid. I went to SC for my undergrad, so I am more than familar with their tendency towards redtape. I thought I would put myself out there, see what people thought.

I go to Clemson. :

Anyways, I've been at file complete since 11/14. I wonder when we'll see any movement...

Orange doesn't really match my skin tone, so there's that
I hope to hear something soon from them. On the one hand it makes sense that they would take their time; as the only law school in the state - Charleston nonwithstanding - they can afford to be choosy I suppose. They're guaranteed an incoming class. Despite this however, part of me cannot help but be comparative. My apps at every single school with the exception of USC are farther along. Oh well. I suppose it's the luck of the draw.

I'm a reverse splitter so I'm not surprised that it's taking a while for me. Good luck on your cycle!

Reading last year's thread, it looks like the first decisions were sent out in mid-December (maybe soon??), and people had to wait until March for $$ info

I got my acceptance letter via snail mail yesterday. Envelope contained a second letter with scholarship info.

If I may, did you know it was coming? That is to say, was your status tracker up-to-date, or did it lag behind?

I wasn't expecting it. I logged on to my status checker earlier in the week, and it was all goofy looking. There was no "Status" line like there was before, and it just looked odd. I didn't think much of it at the time.
I rechecked my status checker this morning, after receiving the letter via snail mail yesterday. It now says "Status: Decisions not given by phone or email."

How long was it before you received the letter from "In Review"? Also, are your scores below, at, or above their average. You don't have to answer, just curious!

I think it was about a month. If I'm remembering right, I went into review around 11/20.
Both my GPA and LSAT are above the 75th percentiles.

Ugh. I have been "In Review" since 11/20 and am also in the 75th percentile for everything. I am out of state so maybe that has something to do with it.
I just graduated from there so if I don't get in... I am going to be furious and embarrassed.

I live about 2 hours from the school. Maybe my mailman is just super fast

Have this cryptic message today: "Current Status: Decisions not given by phone or email."
I guess as per a previous poster, I should expect something in the mail soon?

I saw your post and checked my status- same cryptic message. This must mean that a snail mail letter/package is being sent out. I'm gonna check previous years and report back!
