Has anyone heard anything??
I applied late January and my current status date still says March 21! On the top of my status checker it says they will take roughly 8 weeks to make a decision.

That's next Friday?? Are they really going to wait until the very last moment to let me know?? I really want to go to Pepperdine!!

I called yesterday and was told a decision should come within the next 2 - 3 weeks.

I know someone who found out the week before school started.

They've been going through the waitlist since January. I was put on the list in December and 3 weeks later was notified of acceptance. Heard this has happend to a couple of others as well - I attribute this to applying early...

FYI for those of us still waiting - My current status is also at March 21. I called on Friday and was told we'd have a decision by our 8 week mark - which would be this Friday.

Hope we hear good news soon!!

PS. I find it kinda weird on LSN how everyone who heard back either was accepted or waitlisted. No rejections... I hope its not some sort of strategy of theirs to wait till last minute to see if any more seats clear up for us. And if not, to just waitlist us to be safe.

I noticed the same thing and thought that was strange! This wait is killing me

FYI: I visited a few weeks ago, after the deposit deadline and asked how the class was filling out and they said they received more deposits than expected. I don't know if that is normal every year, but just thought it might be relevant for those on the waitlist :/

Thanks for the reality check Yazzzay ~ but I'm not even on waitlist ... just application pending review. So not sure if they had extra seats, will they offer it to the waitlisters first

No probs, sorry about that though. It seems like a lot of schools have filled up their classes (as of now), I'm on 3 wait lists and they've accepted none to a few people so far…

Happy Friday! For those out there still with the March 21st review date, please post any updates (regardless of good or bad).

I noticed on LSN that two users were accepted last Friday. So there's still some hope?
If you were accepted last Friday, will you mind telling us what your review date was initially? Was it earlier than March 21?

Double seconded! ...I called the admissions office today. They reiterated that we should expect to hear back in 8 weeks, and in a perfect world, that means TODAY! But apparently the admissions office has not finished making decisions for those of us whose apps went "In review" on 3/21. We'll be notified via the status checker and a mailed letter.

Thanks acp for the update! But being notified via status checker + mailed letter doesn't sound too good.
From past reads, acceptances were sent out via email. Most other schools generally reject with those two tools.

Let's hope for the best tho! I just checked my status checker and there's nothing new.

Last year received my acceptance by mail a day or two before the email acceptance.

Would it be uncommon/unusual for admissions to put people on the WL this late in the application process?

Also, is everyone from the 3/21 group still waiting on a decision?

3/21 review date here... Almost at the 10 week mark.... this is getting crazy.

Is there even a possibility of acceptance at this point?

^ If they had made up their mind on definite rejections, wouldn't they have sent those out closer to the 8-week estimate? We're closing in on week 10 already.

Hey all I had the 3/21 review date. I never received an email, however my status checker changed on 5/20 and I got WL'ed and received a letter in the mail a few days later.
