Top Law Schools

Didn't see one started for them. Anyone else apply? I'm going for the part time program to keep COA low. They have been implementing a new system for their admissions though, which has caused a delay in app status checkers for ppl.

Sent in my application on Friday. I was admitted last year but had to back out for financial reasons. Hoping for any amount of $ this time around!

I applied there at the end of October. Anyone have any ideas around the time I'll hear back from them? January perhaps?

December's around the corner. Closer to hearing back from law schools as they'll probably start checking applications soon. The wait is halfway over, hopefully.

Just checking in. Talked to Tulane today, said I should hear back by January/after the holidays. LSU said they're shooting for mid-December. Anybody else hear anything?

Checking in. After applying I got a confirmation email which said:

"You will receive an additional email in late November which will provide you with your applicant user name and information on how to access your application status online."

I didn't receive the follow-up email. Anyone else?

+1; I received that email as well, but no status checker info...I was hoping to hear from these guys before Christmas, but that's looking unlikely..

I followed-up with them and they just replied:

"Re: Loyola Law School - Application Received

Hello,

This information has not been sent out yet. You will likely receive it sometime next week.

Best,

Office of Admissions"

Thanks for checking! I wonder if this is indicative of a delay in review as well...I hope not, perhaps they've already been reviewing files, and simultaneously working on a status checker system....that's as optimistic as I get...lol

I got that E-mail too but they provided the information to check it. My file currently says "under review." It has said that for some time now though...since the beginning of November.

You are saying this about Loyola Law School in Los Angeles? That seems odd that one person would receive it while others dont.

Submitted my app on 11/21 and still have no info. on how to check my status. Loyola is a far reach for me but I'm remaining hopeful.

I applied at the end of October and I still haven't heard anything. My status hasn't even changed from "complete and ready for review". This is sort of exhausting.

I found this on their website: --LinkRemoved-- that's as close as to a status checker as we have right now..lol. I was reading through last year's thread, and it seems like they began mailing decisions around this time...I wonder if the new system affects their decision turnaround time..

Finally got my status checker today. App is sitting at complete, and it seems like they have a "review phase" so, it's probably safe to say we wont hear back until after new year's

Hi. A Loyola 1L here. I figured I'd drop by to offer support and answer any questions, as some other students did that for me last year.

If this year's admissions cycle reflects last year's, those of you that applied early and have strong applications with numbers near or above median should start seeing admissions come around in the next few weeks. Mine came in mid January.

Oh, and Loyola was pretty generous with scholarship money last year, presumably in an effort to protect medians and rankings. I wish you all good luck.

Applied Early Decision, went complete 12/13 and.... accepted via email 12/20!!

Also I just got an email from Loyola about a Law Start Program for their students?? I am only at application complete so is this just something everyone got?
