Baylor Class of 2017 (2013-2014 cycle)

Post by reh » Mon Nov 04, 2013 1:38 pm

My status checker says that my decision letter was mailed on 10/26. Haven't received it yet. Has anyone received a decision?!

Just sent my application this morning. Good luck everyone!

By the way, when did you send your application in?

I applied for both summer and fall, but my LSAT numbers fit better with the summer. I applied over the summer in late July and had a fall decision at the end of September, which I thought was super early! I don't have a summer decision yet, but I did just have a one-on-one interview a couple weeks ago.

I applied Oct. 8 and received a decision in the mail today! Accepted for Fall 2014 with a full-tuition scholarship valued at $142,002! Great first acceptance!

Went complete 10/30. Applying for summer. Above 75th for LSAT and 50th for GPA.
Two questions:
Does Baylor have an under review status?
How long did summer decisions take for anyone?

First question: My status only said complete but at the top of the page it said that my app was under review.
Second question: I only applied for fall so I can't answer this one.

They didn't call you or anything before you got the letter? Seems kind of cruel to say the decision has been made and then making me wait for the snail mail to see what it is! The only other acceptance I've got so far, they called before I got any letter or email... in fact I still haven't got the letter they said they were going to send like 2 weeks ago.....

There is no phone call....only zool..... no, but you won't get good news from Baylor unless it's in a large envelope in your mailbox

I applied and went complete in late July/early August and still haven't received a decision about summer, but I did have a one on one interview a few weeks ago... According to Ms. Neeley, who I interviewed with, applications go under review when they become completed. She also said no news is good news for the summer term...

I'm at their 75th LSAT with a healthy international GPA. i assume it should be an admission not a rejection...?

I'm in the same exact situation as you and in San Antonio. Meanwhile, still haven't received anything. Hopefully it comes in today's mail.
