Reserved just now. At median LSAT, <25% GPA. Not URM. Surprised it wasn't a straight up ding.

loooooooooool Columbia. Thanks for making me wait those extra few days. I'll play your "reserve" game though.

Reserved!
Held at the end of February. Happy to be on the front end of this wave. I'm gonna check the hell out of these speculative cesspools and I'll see you on the other side.

I'm out of town for awhile, and won't be able to access my postal mail for a week or longer. I have not received any word of my decision via email or phone (no hold no reserve--nothing--just a complete application). I'm wondering if I should just call to see what my status is on my application? I went online and all it says is complete. I know that they mail out decisions but I'm starting to get anxious and want to know what the status of my decision is.
Would it be unreasonable for me to call the admissions office to tell them my situation and that I would like to know my decision via email or phone call?

IIRC all the decisions recently (good or bad) have been via email.

Dodging another round of waitlist/reserved decisions is starting to make me pretty anxious. I'm above their 75th GPA but below their 25th LSAT, so I definitely don't think I'd be directly admitted without being held for a period., if that. This just leads me to believe a flat out rejection is coming

final update: put on reserve a few days back in the first wave this week (withdrew shortly after). applied in sep. 3.95/175. Held in March. Wrote a long LOCI....haha apparently I'm not convincing. Unfortunate really. Columbia was my little dream heading into the cycle. I dunno what happened. Got $$ at NYU & Chi. Now heading to HLS.
Good to luck to all who are holding on! Been a long ride.

Held in Feb.
Did everyone get a handwritten note from Dean Iwerebon on their reserve letter?
