It IS possible we all got re-WLed. That would suck but seeing as they were overenrolled, it wouldn't be surprising.

I don't have any official info, but anectodally I heard that they were, at least before HLS started admitting of its WL.

Mine also returned from Under review to Waitlisted: Notified by Email without an additional email. My interview was about two weeks ago. So I think those of us with interviews are being put back on the stack until something maybe opens up.

I'm based in Chicago, which is why I figured I was interviewed. I think the later in the season they go, the harder it is to pick people more likely to accept/be able to accept.

I'm thinking of visiting UC for a self guided tour and to drop in and hopefully connect with an AC member. I'd fly in from NYC just for that.

Does anyone have an opinion on whether that's absolutely insane or if it's reasonable? I visited CLS where I'm also on the WL, but I came up from Virginia. It was a total waste of time.

I have been wanting to do that, but I thought they were pretty strict on the "no additional LOCI/LOR/updates" policy. Except for the essay, of course.

Huh, that surprises me. I have gotten the sense that the UC people are a bit more reticent about that sort of stuff. Worth a call to find out, anyway.

Let us know if it works, there are a few of us based in Chicago that would love to get a leg up as well

The entire admissions department here is 2 people, so it's not likely you'd be able to meet with one. Additionally, if there are no spots, even if they love the hell out of you, there are still no spots

I'd lean toward it not being worth it, would definitely call first and say "Hey I'm going to be in the area on day X, would I be able to meet with someone?" If they react well, book it, if not, no costs incurred.
