I've definitely seen anecdotes here of ppl getting money off PR, but I wouldn't bet on it this late in the game. I've sent 2 LOCIs over the past 2 months. Can't tell u if it helped or not.jdpitt wrote:Does anyone know if $ is given off of the WL?

There are quite a number of current students who are in the admitted class page so that number isn't all admitted students

Checking in. Is Priority Reserve like a preferred wait list? Anyone know the difference? I'm on the regular WL but was just wondering.

Withdrew last night. One of the most difficult decisions of my life. I hope one of you guys gets my spot and matriculates here. I don't say this lightly but Duke is an amazing school and anyone who chooses to go here is extremely lucky. Best of luck to you all.

In today off the waitlist! Got a feeler call (heart was literally pounding) and an email notification a few hours later (almost cried). Good luck to others!

Thanks! I'm a reverse splitter (165/3.89) so maybe they need more a of a GPA boost, but more than that, I went to Duke for undergrad so I'm sure that helped. It sounded like they were in the process of calling a handful of people before making offers off the waitlist. Similar to the email sent to admitted students, I was told on the phone that they only had a few slots available.
