I just received a feeler call about 4 hours ago... He really just seemed interested about what my current plans were, so I just reiterated that I would attend Duke in a heartbeat given the chance. He asked me about what interested me in Duke and if I had any additional questions. He said that they were likely to make additional admission offers in the next week or two. It was a really general phone call... god I hope I get an offer. (167/3.82)

When I talked to the Director of Financial Aid on the phone, he told me that they were pretty much out of scholarship money when I asked about need based aid.

Welcome news for those of you on the waitlist! Just withdrew my summer start seat and sending $67,500 back into the pot! Good luck to all you Duke hopefuls! It's a beautiful school and a great program but Durham just didn't excite me too much. I'm off to Ann Arbor to attend Hogwarts!

Has everyone been accepted so far off pr / wl been only priority reserve? Just wondering if they are looking at the pr for the few open spots for this week or may make offers from wl. What do people think?

I emailed yesterday asking about $$, but got an out of office autoreply. Going to call today, I guess, but I feel weird begging over the phone.

Unfortunately, merit scholarships are not a possibility but a limited amount of need-based aid may be available. You'll find instructions on how to apply on the new student website. I hope this helps!
