Hear my cries, O Denizens of TLS!
If you know for sure that you will not be attending a school and you do not need said school for scholarship negotiations, can we dedicate this day, A.D. April 22, 2013 to withdrawals?

No, we want the pool of interested waitlisters to look large, but be small. For purposes of get-back.

I bet it would probably take the admissions offices like fifteen minutes to come up with an alternate if you're like, "Haha! Got ya! I stayed on your waitlist strictly for payback!"justonemoregame wrote:No, we want the pool of interested waitlisters to look large, but be small. For purposes of get-back.
But really this plea is geared toward people who have been admitted but just haven't been able to muster up enough energy/inclination to let the admission offices know they aren't coming.
