Obviously a committee review means that a committee is reviewing your application and a decision is to be rendered soon. But here is the thing:
I have applied to two law schools so far. The school that I have yet to hear from mentions that my application is "In Committee Review" , while the school that i was rejected to today went from "application received" to "decision sent".
I am confused as to why the school that rejected me didn't show that it went through a "committee review".
Is anyone able to shed light on this? Do all applications go under committee review?
Does every application go through "committee review"? Forum

Different schools = Different types of updates. No correlation with acceptance/rejection
