Northwestern Waitlisted c/o 2016

I have been tossing the idea of creating this thread for a while, and then those "held"at NU created a thread. I knew it was time.
Now we do not have to bother those discussing scholarships in the regular Northwestern thread with the information that is most vital to us.
I'll start it off: does anyone know how they notify if you are accepted off of the wait list? Email? Phone? In other words, can I take NU off of my automatic status checker?

huh? I have checked and cannot find any recent info. In past cycles I believe that people have been admitted via email. But that information is several years old and admissions processes are constantly changing.

My bad. Just my lazy way of checking in on my phone. From what I have read, they will notify you by email or by phone (though I can't say which). I'm guessing this means the status checker is now useless?

Haha ok. That's kind of what I thought but wasn't sure.
And yeah, I have come to the same conclusion. Wish I knew for sure though.

I do wish I knew how many of us there are. And what we really need to pay attention to is when HYS start taking off their waitlist, that is when things will start moving.
Anyone going to write another LOCI even if you already did?

Checking in. Taking the June LSAT so I'm gonna make myself comfortable and prepare for a long ride.

I'm a little in the same boat, I just want them to know for the sixth or seventh time that NU is my first choice....

I think they're the same thing? They just moved the rest of the held ppl onto the wait list today that's all.

HOLD people- Did you're status change from "waiting list" to "summer waiting list"?
I swear I thought I was one the regular WL but I just checked it and it changed (I think....)

I've withdrawn, my lovelies. I hope one of you gets my spot. Especially if you were given a waitlist letter back in the winter that was mysteriously transformed into a hold letter, and are now once again waitlisted.

My status just says Decision Letter Available Within 24 hours.
