Top Law Schools

Anybody else on it? I've seen in past years there's usually not too much movement. I deposited at another school already where I got a lot of $ but Vanderbilt was my first choice. Anyone have any success with the waitlist in the past/think it's a total lost cause?

Yep, I'd be thrilled to get off but I'm thinking it's unlikely with my numbers

I'm on it, but I don't think I'm going to pursue it too hard. I'm in at USC, so I think I'd rather stay in L.A. than go to Nashville.

I'm on it. Pursuing it pretty hard, even though I'm not that optimistic about getting off given my numbers. They're definitely my top choice though.

Actually flew out and visited yesterday and it went really well. Just sat in on a class, sat down with the Associate Director of Admissions, and got a tour of the building. Really beautiful facility and entire campus actually.

I'm waiting on my decision so ill post here.

I would consider it, but only because I have no undergrad loans and have a fair amount of money saved in the bank. It would still cost me like 150 to 160k after interest and including all costs though, so it's a tough decision. Almost twice as expensive as my other options.

One of my friends who got off the waitlist a couple years ago got like 5k per year in scholly so it's not a given that you have to pay sticker...even that little bit of money can help on the margin. It adds up with interest.

Ya it's either this or asu for me, I am really nervous about the debt though, it seems like a pretty awesome place though. I am so conflicted ahhhh

In a heart beat! Obviously I'd love some scholarship aid, but if my only option was full sticker, then I'd take it without having to think twice about it.

Admissions said they weren't looking to give much merit money out this year to WL candidates, if any at all.

I'm riding this list along with 3 others until orientation. Anyway hear anything?

There were a few admissions a couple weeks ago, and those deposits were due a week ago tomorrow. Given the short turnaround time from decision to deposit (gave me six days), I would think that a decent percentage of those admits didn't deposit. Keep up hope.

If they said this, they have not been following through.
