Fee Waiver

So I received a fee waiver from W&M on the 25th which I thought was weird because unfortunately I'm well below their LSAT scores (149) :( but I have a 3.72 UG GPA. Anyone have thoughts as to why I got a fee waiver if I'm so below their scores?

Thanks!

Because it's not important.

Because schools like to extend fee waivers to people so they can reject them cause somehow that factors into the USNWR rankings.

This. Having a higher %yield is beneficial to schools for ranking purposes, so they liked to send out mass waivers (particularly late in the cycle like now) so they can get people to apply and get rejected to boost the %yield. It's pretty stupid/sketchy but it's a common practice.

Please do not apply to any law school with a 149. Your GPA is actually quite good, and with a good LSAT you could have a great cycle. Any school that will admit someone with a 149 is not a school worth attending. RETAKE.
