Any others applying or already accepted to UofL?

Applied in mid-January and just got my decision e-mail today. No word at all about scholarships though.

Congrats! Yeah I applied 1/24 and got my acceptance email today. Are you from Louisville? I heard that they send hand-written acceptance letters so hopefully scholarship info will come with that.

I just got an e-mail about a scholarship offer about an hour ago. Pretty disappointing offer, but that's to be expected after the scholarship situation they had last year.

Yep, I'm from near Louisville, so it's the hometown option for me.

Accepted via email about a week ago. Anyone gotten the acceptance letter in the mail yet?

Yeah I got mine last week. It was nice and had a hand-written comment about what they liked about my personal statement. Nice touch!

Got mine last week and I agree, the personal note was a nice touch. The dean called me a few days ago but I was at work and missed the call.

Yeah she called me a few days ago too. She seemed a little nervous on the phone but still very thoughtful.
Just wish I would have gotten scholarship money even though I am in-state.

I sort of detected a little nervousness in the message too but she seemed nice. I read about their scholarship problem last year so I guess it is to be expected that they won't be offering a lot.

Yeah I am from Louisville so I have been on the campus quite a bit, but I also went to one of their visit days back in October as well. When I went I didn't even really consider UL as a choice until I talked to the students. All the students seem to really enjoy their time on campus and their classmates. I still think I really want to get out of my hometown though.

If you were to get a scholarship offer, they would have sent you an email the same day as your acceptance.
At least that is what I was told when I emailed admissions.

Looks like Louisville moved up quite a few spots this year
