Complete 12/3. Maybe their ding button is broken? I'm probably below their 5ths for heaven's sake.

Complete at HLS 12/13. Nothing since then. Feels like I've been stood up.

Complete late November. I guess I'm just happy I can tell my friends and family that I'm still in the running.

Complete 1/4. My numbers indicate an auto-ding, but here's to hoping my non-Noble Peace Prize winning, non-Olympian softs will make a door for a JS1 at least.

In at Princeton Law's legal Ph.D program... Looking forward to dissecting the finer points of complex cross-border transactions involving GMOs.

Oh and on an unrelated note, law school applications are down 20% across the board. Not sure how much they're down at Harvard, but odds are they'll hold onto applications a little longer than usual.

I hope to enroll in Princeton law's dual JD / phd in comparative literature program, so that I can become an international hip hop attorney.

I want to send in an updated resume (nominated for an award at work) and a LOCI (Why Harvard)-type statement. Any reason I shouldn't? My numbers are basically auto-reject and I'm assuming my strong softs have kept me in it, but I'd rather be sure I used all of the bullets in my holster if I have to go down.
I think the fact that you haven't heard anything means you're still in the running. I don't think you need a "why HLS" because everyone loves HLS. The nomination for the award at work... do you work at an amazing institution? I mean, is this award note-worthy? If so, go for it.

The best thing about Princeton Law is its policy of non-discrimination. Holistic method? Numbers? They don't care about that. They go by a well-tested formula that's proven invaluable over the years (obviously substitute letter grades with admit, WL, hold, deny):

http://www.concurringopinions.com/archi ... _grad.html

Sometimes I have a sneaking suspicion that other top schools are starting to use this as well. Clearly a case of Princeton envy.

Submitted 12/5 and went complete 1/4. 174/3.8 with strong softs (I've been out of college for a good long while). The waiting has been so brutal, and yet somehow I have a feeling I still have a loooooong time to go :(

GIVE ME SOMETHING. GIVE ME ANYTHING. For F's sake--submitted in November, complete 12/5. Why do they do this? 2 months is ridiculous.

Lewis and Clark: Submitted 11/1, complete 11/5, updated 1/11... still no word.
(Granted this is not HLS but a school that is my 1st choice to attend)
Just a smidge below median both LSAT and GPA :D

UofO: Submitted 11/20, complete prior to end of November, updated 1/3...no word here either. At median for both LSAT and GPA.

Guys, I just got dinged at Princeton. Here's the letter. I'm pretty distraught. :(

Good luck to the rest of you.

What's worse: being held at Harvard a few weeks ago or stuck in no-hold / JSNone like I am now?

Same numbers and timeline. Also haven't heard anything. Just waiting for the ding so I can move on, wish they'd hurry it up

Being that I submitted 17 (t-14 except cornell, UT, Vandy, USC, UCLA) apps mid-late November and have only heard back from two I am taking the title of

KING OF THE FORGOTTENS

You may all bow down to me and fall in line behind me.

That's harsh. I'd be flipping out if I wasn't accepted to other schools already.

I don't know if I really belong in this thread (although I am technically forgotten by UVA).

I just wanted to make the following observation:

If there were a Princeton Law and if they had a hold status, that's where I would be right now.

For now, congrats to all the Princeton admits. To the rest, I look forward to seeing you in the held by Princeton thread.

Withdrawing my app to Princeton today, good luck to everyone else still in the running! JS1 after more than two months of waiting--I've heard scuttlebutt that the owls delivering the interview invites have been increasingly unreliable ever since Dumbledore died.
