Quiet period ends....??

When do adcoms typically go back to reviewing apps? I see here that some are hearing back, but for the most part it's been relatively quiet.
Just wondering how much longer I can have anxiety free days knowing that no one is going to be getting back to me right now.

Beat me to it. I wanted to ask this same question. I was hoping to see some action between Christmas and New Years. Yet, notadamnthing

doubtful there'll be too much action until after new year's, tbh. best bet for the majority of us is after new years.

I think we will get more acceptances after new years. December LSAT scores will be out January 12ish I believe. That is when the real fun will begin. *gulp*

Action picked up again the second week of January last year. There was general silence the first week, with a few exceptions.

December LSAT said they'll be out by Jan 4th and it better be before then, did anyone else take it?

Yup, fellow waiter here. After the hell that was the October fiasco though I don't know how much more I can take.

I've been checking lawschoolnumbers information from last year to check when my remaining schools began sending out information again last year. I have nothing to go by that would imply that my method is right, but different schools seem to start back up at different times.
Edit: I'm not talking about T14s, but I just got a status checker acceptance today (1/1) so different schools are back at it already.

Looks to me like the week of Jan.14 will be the earliest we hear back. They haven't been reviewing apps for 2 weeks, so I doubt they'll walk in next week and start issuing decisions after such a layover. Idk though, just my opinion

Last year, Harvard sent out its rejections the first Friday in January, which was the 6th. This year Friday is the 4th, so I'm not sure if that's too early or not, but I think it's definitely a possibility.

So who else here thought that LS Status Checker is broken and logged into a few status pages manually?

Exactly! When I did the interview last Friday, I was told they would reply by Monday, and I was frantically refreshing my gmail all afternoon yesterday... I sorta decided I should take no-reply as a silent ding and went to drink away the sorrow...

I recently had a change of address, so on Monday I emailed all the schools I applied to letting them know...according to their vacation auto-replies they will be back:
Stanford: Jan 7
Yale: Jan 2
Harvard: afternoon Jan 2
Berkeley: Jan 7 (although Dean Tom responded yesterday)
UVA: Jan 7
and Columbia, NYU, and Chicago all replied to me today.
Make of that what you will.
