So I applied ED to UVA. Today I got an email from Jason Dugas saying... "Your application is still under review.... btw... sign up for our newsletter it gets sent out every three weeks..." is that a hint that I might be getting a phone call with the big words later

Ok, and when they send out admissions is it always through the phone? Because I listed my primary as my parents and they work so I might not get it right away... would the online status change simultaneously?

If you don't answer the phone and they don't have something to ask you about your application, usually they do not, then they will probably just leave a message saying "congrats!" then they will change the status checker fairly soon. So you may find out via status checker in that situation if your parents don't tell you about the voicemail right away or what have you. The other alternative is they want to talk to you first, so they leave a message saying "call us back when you can".

Thank you for your response.... ah the anticipation is killing me, I just woke up out of my sleep (west coast) dreaming about UVA and had to check my e-mail/status
