Also got an interview request this morning, from a local alum here in Chicago. I figured I was a shoe-in (sp?) at Case with 164/3.6 so I'm hoping this is a similar recruiting interview rather than a formal one to petition for admission.

Yes, I received an acceptance a week ago today. Received scholarship email about an hour afterward. LSN has a few other acceptances listed as well.

I am hoping stage one is when they decide admit or reject and stage two is to determine merit aid, though this is probably wishful thinking

I don't remember exact number days, I would say it was probably close to a week.

Had my interview this morning and even more excited about Case Western now! I thought it went well. My interviewer asked me some questions, I asked some questions, she told me about her experiences there, and it was a really good conservation. My interviewer did say that she would submit her report to the adcoms but did not know how much bearing it would have on the decision. Regardless, I prepared and went into the interview like it would make a big impact on the decision of my app b/c frankly, we just don't know.

I got this interview request before I went into review stage 1 and my thought is that they must have read through my application b/c they paired me up for this interview with someone that is not in the area that I want to go into, but had a similar experience in law school that I will have also. I thought that was really great on the adcoms part. I'm hoping for some good news from Case soon!

Still haven't received information about an interview, which I am not sure is good news or bad news.

Accepted a few weeks ago, with $35,000/yr scholarship. Received a phone call from Dean Mitchell a few days ago.

Will most definitely be attending Case Western!

congrats! I'm hoping to get accepted to case western also. Did you have an interview? If so, how long after your interview did you get your decision?

Is this the 1st year that Case is conducting interviews? Does everyone get an interview? Trying to figure out Case's admissions process.

This is the second year Case has conducted interviews in the admissions process. I believe everyone is offered a chance to have an interview. However, I don't think the have much of an impact on the school's decision to admit you unless you decline to do one.
