That is awesome! Do you mind sharing you GPA/LSAT scores? I will be applying next year and am wondering about what it will take to receive a full ride.

4.02/168. I guess I'm going to have to wait and see if it really is a full-ride. I hate waiting for snail-mail

Congratulations! Yodamiked. University of Lethbridge is a very good college. May I ask what is your undergraduate major?

No, I am not from Alberta, my friend does. He graduated from University of Calgary, not too far from your college

I think you're pretty guaranteed a full ride, congrats! I'm surprised they didn't call you about the scholarship though, they seemed to for most here including myself.

I wasn't called about my scholarship, it isn't fully consistent but when money is being offered who cares how you find out, right?

Status just changed to "admitted with scholarship." I went UR on 1/29. Do they e-mail you the scholarship? 160/ 3.92

I just created a "group" called MSU College of Law Class of 2016... but I'm not sure what the difference is between a "group" and a "page" so if I didn't do it right, someone can step in and fix it. I think crazyducky924 and I agree though that it's a good idea for us to start networking with each other early. I set it as a closed group so if you search for it, you should be able to find it and then I'll have to accept a request to join (had to do it this way so that our posts were kept private). Look forward to meeting you all!

Hello! The best offer I received was from MSU so it would be a great option to me. Would I be able to join the group without having anything post on my wall? Im not really wanting to announce anything yet, but I am interested in meeting you all!

When you create a group you can only "like" it, you can't "join" it. I think it needs to be a page, but honestly I have never made one...
Ill be happy to help. Just let me know what I can do.
Someone from the law administration should make the page so that they can monitor who has been admitted.

I agree that it would make sense for someone at the college to create it, but I'm pretty sure you can only like a page, but join a group. Try looking it up and joining... if that doesn't work, PM me your facebook stuff and I'll add you to the group so we can get this thing figured out. Thanks for the help!

Everyone on lsn with a 155 is in. Looks like your chances are reasonably good.

Got a nice scholly here to compete with GSU. Among my top 3 right now, anyone gone on an official visit yet or have any information in regards to their IP program?

They're starting an IP clinic, which sounds promising. They also have a summer program in Iceland and Croatia for international IP. If you do an externship through the DC program, I'm betting they have in-roads at Commerce/PTO.

Appreciate it! I have been very impressed with MSU so far.

I recently submitted my FAFSA, has anyone gotten back any information from the financial aid office?

Status has been stuck at 'Complete-Scholarship Pending' since 3/11. MSU was originally one of my top choices, but I really can't wait forever when deposit deadlines are fast approaching. :(

What is MSU's deadline for admitted students to accept their admission?

The regular deadline is April 1st. I was told the scholarship committee is meeting late in the month before the deadline. If you have not received your package call and ask for an extension on the seat deposit.

well, i just received an e-mail this morning, saying i have been accepted and offered a 50% scholarship. however, after this delightful information, they said that they will not be able to confirm this until April 4th. they noted that if they cannot fulfill this scholarship offer this year, they will offer it to me for the fall 2014 cycle.

i'm sure they are waiting for the april offer-acceptance deadline to make sure that they do have the money to offer me.
either way, this is the first that i have heard from any law school, so it's good enough for me.

EDIT: oh, if it helps any, I am an international applicant with a 3.44 LSAC GPA and 157.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
