Hi, thanks for your reply. I know those courses are required in L1. However, I'm just wondering the courses required in the Fall semester.

Other than legal research and legal writing (both pass/fail), it depends on your section. 5 classes in the fall, Legal research runs 7 weeks though. 4 classes in the spring, which would be your 3 doctrinal classes, and another writing class (again, pass/fail)

Has anyone heard anything about the Public Interest/State School scholarships? I applied for the public interest one and they said they'd contact applicants about an interview? No timeline was provided that I can remember.

Yup. Sent LOCI with new Feb LSAT score. I wrote a formal letter in Word and sent it as an email attachment to the person who sent my waitlist email.

Lurker here. I don't know anything about the specifics of Illinois' numbers/metrics. But i was under the impression that their initial drop was a punishment for their previous dean falsifying their data...I dunno why they would drop further unless that initial drop scared away qualified candidates, leading to an actual dip in their numbers. But in any case...Illinois is probably next in line after Michigan, UChicago, and NU as far as Chicago placement. Solid school...well-regarded in the state....even if it did drop, USNWR rankings only mean so much.

Eh...personally I only care about the rankings cuz I use it as a makeshift proxy to gauge job placement...if the medians are the only thing that's down and placement is maintaining, then I wouldn't necessarily be concerned if they drop. But that's just me lol

This is probably credited. Rankings will probably drop because of medians but I doubt employment is gonna change anytime soon
