Initially I got mine raised with a higher Feb LSAT score. I sent another request last week with a better offer in it but they haven't responded...Po0329 wrote:I would think a few days or so after the April 15 seat deposit would be a good guess for the waitlist.
Anyone tried negotiating scholarships yet?

How quickly did they respond? Do you think they would consider increasing the scholarship amount if a) the school is lower ranked & in another state or b) if you have no other scholarship offers...?FreeTheKZ wrote:illiniguy1551 wrote:Initially I got mine raised with a higher Feb LSAT score. I negotiated my scholarship at CK. Was initially offered 15K/year no stips. Wrote to them explaining that DePaul Law had offered 20K/year no stips. They didn't match, but countered with 18K/year no stips.
I negotiated twice. The first time took about a week, the second time took about a week and a half. I used a higher ranked school the second time, but it was pretty far away (def not a peer/local school). I think they would consider a lower ranked school if the scholarship was significantly better and you can always leverage with the "I want to attend, but am considering reapplying next year." If you are accepted, your turning down CK regardless will hurt their yield.lovelaw1 wrote:How quickly did they respond? Did you withdrawal any of your offers yet? Im waitlisted at DePaul as well as Kent. Hoping for one to surface for me.Sergio103 wrote:Has anyone received any decisions in the last few days? Got accepted into DePaul after about 3 weeks of being complete and Loyola after a little over a month. About to hit two months waiting on Kent.
